Star Trek Phase 2: Blood and Fire Part 2 (TEASER)

Some fun on the Star Trek Phase 2 Sets!

Hey all,

Here’s part of Queensryche’s Silent Lucidity sung (or butchered – you decide) by Charles Root and Robert Mauro as filmed during the June 2009 Star Trek New Voyages: Phase 2 Kitumba shoot. We did better the year before, but sadly, no one caught it on video…

Enjoy!

Time for Sleep – and a Long Drive Soon…

Well, it’s off to a few hours sleep… then, at 6AM, I need to make the drive to the studio. Hate the drive, but love being up there.

Safe travels to everyone heading up.

G’night all!

Just another looong day…

Well, today is really just part of yesterday for me. I got up really late yesterday (because of a very very late night the night before), so I am simply plugging away through what little of yesterday I had straight into today. Then, it’s off to some sleep before the long trek (no pun intended) upstate to work on a Star Trek Phase 2 shoot.

In the meantime, I’ve re-transcoded part of Star Trek Phase 2: Blood and Fire Part 1 for our Dragonfly Streaming video release (HIGH DEF FOLKS!!!) to fix some issues with the video codec used (which wasn’t supported by their player… through no fault of theirs… when I fixed an audio sync issue, I used the wrong output codec). Anyway, they’ll be done with their part soon, which places the ball back in my court for the website updates, with the help of the very talented Jeff Hayes of Plasmafire Graphics for some of the graphics work (if you haven’t checked out his work, you should… besides some gorgeous in-episode stuff, he’s done far more!). So, anyway, once I get back from the Pickup Shoot this weekend, it’s back to some website modifications so that Star Trek Phase 2: Blood and Fire Part 1 is ready for streaming delivery.

Well, I talk a lot about my Star Trek Phase 2 work, but I have a lot of other things going on right now as well. I’ve got a lot of edits to do for other websites, and some programming stuff to finish in the next few hours (on schedule, thankfully – at least so far) for a local EMS/Ambulance Company.

Off to some more Iron Maiden and some more work!!!

The August Pickup Shoot…

Cawley Entertainment Company

I’ll be away in the boonies helping shoot some more scenes for a Star Trek Phase 2 episode.

Another Pickup Shoot Coming Up…

Well, we’re in the middle of planning for our upcoming Fall Shoot, but like always, we’re still pretty busy with other things. August 22-23rd, we’ll be doing a pickup shoot for “Star Trek Phase 2: The Child” to revise or Read more
