Just Me...(01/29/2009)

My name is Robert Mauro. I’m the adventurous, laid back type, with a variety of interests and life experiences. I’ve worked in the computer world (as a programmer, web designer and A+ Certified Repair Technician), done commercial and residential construction, waited tables, cooked in various restaurants and more. Besides the computer related stuff I do right now, I am the Line Producer, Gaffer, Webmaster and Forum Admin (among other things) for Retro Film Studios/Cawley Entertainment Company, who produces  Star Trek New Voyages/Phase 2 and Buck Rogers Begins.

During what “downtime” I have from my regular work, and my rather expensive “hobby” (Star Trek Phase 2), I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading, watching movies, the outdoors, cooking for friends and loved ones, video games, the beach, or simply vegging out.

Something inbetween a geek, nerd and jock… I enjoy many things, and value my true friends more than life itself.

When it comes to music, though I have an undying love for Iron Maiden, there is very little music that I dont like if it speaks from the heart and/or soul. So, basically, if it’s good music, I want to hear it.

The most important things in my life are my friends and loved ones (often one in the same), music (I used to sing… now I sing only to myself or around close friends), the world as a whole, and anyone worth getting to know.
